P.LEAGUE+ raised prices 30%: the actual ticket prices and attendance at three arenas
The biggest increase hit the cheapest seats. The clubs say it bought better sightlines; fans are split.
All three home arenas adjusted prices for the new season. The biggest jump was not courtside, it was the cheapest tier, from NT$ 400 to NT$ 520.
The clubs say that tier was redesigned for sightlines and aisles: fewer seats, and a better view from each of them.
Attendance did not drop
Average attendance across the three arenas over the first four weeks was 82%, against 84% for the same stretch last year. What changed is the mix: the cheapest tier sold a higher share, and the mid-tier lost some.
That is not what the clubs expected. They were braced for losing the low-price buyers, and what they actually lost were mid-tier buyers trading down.

The thing to watch is midseason. Taiwanese basketball attendance usually separates after December, once the standings mean something.
