APT Taipei Main Event Day 1A is under way: 412 entries, prize pool projected past NT$ 65,000,000
Cards went in the air at noon at the APA venue in Taipei. Day 1B and 1C are still open, buy-in NT$ 50,000, one re-entry.
Cards went in the air at noon sharp at the APA venue in Taipei. Day 1A drew 412 entries, and organisers expect the three Day 1 flights to total more than 1,300, pushing the prize pool toward NT$ 65,000,000, among the largest tournaments ever held in Taiwan.
It’s no-limit hold’em, 50,000 starting stacks, 60-minute levels, one re-entry. That structure is forgiving for anyone playing their first big event: through the first six levels you are rarely forced into a decision, which leaves time to read the table.
Can you still enter?
Yes. Day 1B (tomorrow, 12:00) and Day 1C (the day after, 12:00) are both open for on-site registration, buy-in NT$ 50,000. If you won your seat through an APA satellite, bring the confirmation email to the registration desk to collect your chip card.
